The so-called 'Advance Directive'

Both the living will or medical powers of attorney we have mentioned will fall into these categories. There is also the 'Do-Not-Resuscitate (DNR) Order

This is a legally recognized and executed document, binding and normally signed, witness and filed. This would instruct your main care giver, physician in charge of your medical care, to be instructing all health care providers not to attempt resuscitation if a person would face cardiac or respiratory arrest.
