Boost Your Home's Value by Adding a Concrete Garage

With average UK house prices approaching 150,000, more and more people are looking for methods to boost their home's value.

It is well known that adding central heating to a property provides a boost to home's values and Nationwide's survey shows that a 13% uplift is achieved. It is also common knowledge that off road parking is important and the survey shows that this will increase property valuse by an average of 8%. However, what isn't as well known is that a garage is one of the only Home Improvements that will actually recoup its cost entirely.

A single garage will add an average of 11.1% to a propety's value and a double garage will add 20.4% in value.

So, according to this surevey, on a property worth 150,000 the addition of a single garage would see it worth 166,650 - an increase of 16,650. A double garage would increase the value to 180,600 - a 30,600 uplift.

Garages provide a great boost to home's values and the return on the minimal investment required is astonishingly good, especially when you realise that the average price of a single Compton concrete garage is around 2500 and a double garage around 4500. These typical prices even include delivery, installation and a 10 year guarantee.

Compton offer a range of shapes, sizes and styles including a brick effect version. These are available to view at www.comptonbuildings.co.uk

You are able to visit a local agent who will normally have a display of buildings for you to consider. There are over 150 displays in the UK so you won't have to travel far.

A flat, square and level concrete base will be required to put the building onto - you can lay this yourself or ask the local Compton agent to arrange it for you.

So, if you're looking to boost the value of your home the easy way, consider choosing a Compton concrete garage and with lead times at just 4 weeks you could see almost an immediate return on investment.
