My Space is a popular social networking website that boasts of 95 million existing members and 500 thousand new members each week. If you've been spending even just a small amount of time online, I'm sure I didn't have to tell you how popular it is. Just the other day, CNN.COM reported that the U.S. Marine Corps has made use of Myspace.com as a recruiting tool seeing that this website has been the rage with teens and the early twenty something crowd. This invasion, if you will, would indicate the mass appeal of this social networking website that even a branch of the U.S. armed service found it advantageous to use it.
If you've seen personal pages at social networking sites like MySpace.com or Friendster.com, I'm sure you've found the vibrant people maintaining these sites to be a colorful and outspoken bunch. The amusing images are always a delight to see while the witty remarks in the comments area are often interesting and entertaining. My Space is all about personality and individuality.
