Employees will also be more inclined to work extra hours, because they do not have to make the commute back home. Workers who have a legitimate work at home jobs are usually happier and healthier due to their own home environment. This means jobs get done better and the employee-employer relationship is better.

Another way to have legitimate work from home is to become a freelancer, independent contractor, or a business consultant. These include writing articles for websites, selling products for companies, inquire and research information for businesses. However, these work from home business opportunities sometimes require outside of the home work, such as traveling, and are usually not labeled as a work from home job but termed as self-employed.
